Living in Newcastle there's nothing better than an easy run to Gloucester for lunch, especially when things are cooling down!  Waking up the morning of the run it was about 11 degrees so not cold but just starting to creep down.  Looking outside the sun was up so I knew it was going to be a great little ride.

Man I'd been looking forward to this ride since it was first booked in our ride calendar.  Nothing better than a good ride with a bunch of great people and a country pub stay.  Well, at least in my opinion!

Waking up Saturday morning seeing the clear sky made me smile ear to ear.  I tucked into a little

This ride was even a mystery to me until Chewy shot me an email with a proposed route that looked pretty damn awesome.  I really wasn't up to leading the group with all the rubbish that has gone on in my personal life in the last few weeks but sure as hell I was keen for a ride to clear my head and try get things back on track again.

This was the first official ride for 2016 and we didn't get rained out!  We've had too much bloody rain lately and it's been bloody annoying.  All good, though, pulling into BP Beresfield I saw a fair number of bikes so I knew we were in for a good ride to Terrigal for lunch.  By the time 9:30 came around we had about

After getting washed out for our Wiseman's Ferry ride, I was really looking forward to swinging a leg over for this mystery ride!  It was a nice warm day, plenty of sunshine so I knew we were good to go.  Obviously being a mystery ride no one knew where we were going but Chewy and I planned to an easy loop around Mt Sugarloaf and the

Man it was good to throw a leg over the hog again.  It had been about 6 weeks since my last ride so the loins were itching to get out!  Now I'm certainly not making any excuses but after working on the house for a number of weeks and the amount of bloody rain we've had, I hadn't really made time to get out.

Waking

It had been a really long week and I was really looking forward to this overnight ride.  We had plenty of sun forecast for the weekend, which only added further to the excitement.  I don't know if it's just me, but if I haven't been for a ride in a few weeks, I start to get a little unsettled and a night away was just what

The goal of this ride was simple...  Ride an IBA SS1600K on a small single cylinder bike to claim the coveted IBA title of "Not Right Rider".

The ride was originally organised by Wom and he thought it would also be great to open the ride up to the FarRiders forum and see if we had any takers.  OX-34

Pulling in to Fraser's I had the feeling this was going to be a great day.  The sun was shining, with only a slightly ominous front off the southern skyline.

By 12:00pm we had approximately 30 bikes pulled up, so it was shaping up to be a decent number for the ride.  As always, the BBQ was cranking along

The plan was to meet up at BP Beresfield at 4:00am for a 4:30am start.  I set my alarm for 3:00am and after a couple pieces of toast and two shots of coffee I was suiting up with all the wet weather gear I could find.  On mornings like this, you often ask yourself the question, "what the bloody hell am I doing, going
